The side panels display points of interest in Munich, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, and the Neuschwanstein Castle. Decorative trim includes scrolling, vining, and flowering. The stein is hand-painted in a richly-detailed relief design. The domed pewter lid is topped with intricate banding and a solid pewter Imperial German Eagle finial.
