1 Liter, 11" tall.  Imperial German Eagle Horn. This horn features the Imperial Eagle in finely detailed and colorfully hand-painted relief on the center front. It is presented on a white background and framed by vining Hops. Contrasting black accents enhance the artistry of the look. Pewter mountings and thumblift support a  domed pewter lid which displays intricate-relief decorative banding.
The Imperial German Eagle originates from an emblem believed to have been used by Charlemagne, the first Frankish ruler crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope in 800 A.D., and was derived from the Eagle Standard of the Roman army.
