1/2 Liter. 5 1/2" Tall.  Mettlach #2024 Beer Stein.  Circa 1898. Hand-painted, etched body features the Berlin Crest and a wrap-around scene of Berlin with some enameling. Decorative wrapped banding.  Pewter mountings with hand-painted, etched insert depicting the Brandenburg Gate. Excellent  coloring and detail.  No damage or wear.  Made in Germany by Villeroy & Boch.
