Richly detailed and colorful, hand-painted scenes feature many cities with their famed attractions. The stein's front displays the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and the Cologne Cathedral. Other cities and areas featured around the body of the stein include Heidelberg, Rothenburg, Munich, the Neuschwanstein Castle, Rudesheim, Frankfurt, Dresden, Loreley on the Rhine, and the Black Forest.  The base rim creates a collection of German traditional items including Alpine Hat, Edelweiss Flower, Cuckoo Clock, Beer Stein, and Nutcracker. The multi-domed pewter lid is adorned with intricate-relief decorative banding.
