Heavy, very colorful relief features Cuckoo Clocks which were originally produced in the Black Forest between 1740 and 1750. Cuckoo Clock peddlers became common, travelling to villages with their wares.  One such peddler is featured as the handle for this stein in colorful detail. A craftsman is also featured at his workshop.
